Why Pelosi Is Waiting
I play a little Texas Hold-Em poker. Anyone else who does knows that it is rarely a good idea to move "all in" before the Flop with a pair of Aces. It is also not advisable to move all in if you flop a third Ace. Why? Even though you likely have the best hand, there's no guarantee that will be the case after 4th Street and the River. More importantly, it's not good gambling. You want to make a reasonable bet to see what the table is willing to tolerate. You're hoping there is a pair of Kings or Queens out there to stimulate the action. The next two cards are key. If nothing turns to challenge your 3 Aces, you bet 4th Street a little stronger. If you're still solid after the River, you might consider the all in. You're goal with a strong hand is to extract as much from your opponents as possible. Why am I going on so about poker?
